How to use this service?
- Make sure you have an active data connection via 3G/4G/LTE or Wi-Fi.
- From the Application list, tap Device Unlock. (Note: The application may be located in the MetroPCS folder.)
- Tap Continue
- Choose the Permanent Unlock type:
- If you get "Not Eligible for Unlock" in the app, then you can proceed and order our service. It will change your device status to eligible. If you receive “Communication Error” or “Server not responding, please try again later”, DO NOT submit your order as it is not supported for unlocking (no refunds will be provided for any orders submitted with either of these error messages)
- When you receive email that your device is unlocked, open the app again, and click Permanent unlock.
What you need to know:
When the phone is unlocked you will received e-mail looking like this:
Your Phone is unlocked, please put SIM card different than original and click Permanent unlock.
